Paul Knox-Clarke affirms the consequences of climate change are uncertainty, urgency and complexity; while the humanitarian response to climate change will be challenged to work well beyond the humanitarian sector. This interactive session explores these realities in the context of our current work and drives participants to identify changes that will be required of organizations to respond to and be resilient in the face of climate change. Participants choose a session theme where they can discuss specific changes that their own organizations will have to make, before considering the broader policy changes that will be required for the sector as a whole. Working themes complement PQMD key pillars: Disaster and Humanitarian Response; Health Systems Strengthening; Standards and Coordination; and Knowledge, Innovation and Research.
