Working in fragile, conflict-affected, and vulnerable settings has always been challenging for humanitarian actors. But more and more, additional layers of crises create the need for even more complex solutions. It is indisputable that we are living in a complex time of continuing underfunded humanitarian mandates, competing catastrophic needs, and an overall difficult and sometimes competitive operational environment.
This conversation will consider and highlight how leaders might successfully navigate the complexities and opportunities of the current geopolitical dynamics to consistently and sustainably provide lifesaving aid to those in need.
