Turbulent times means turbulent relationships and perhaps a shift in where leadership comes from. With so many health disasters and ongoing crises, dwindling availability of global, national or even local funds, and difficult and politically fraught environments, how does the global health community stay focused on addressing the challenges while keeping humanity at the center of the response Whether dealing with war, millions of displaced persons and refugees, infectious disease outbreaks, food insecurity, water scarcity, chronic diseases, or simply limited access to quality healthcare, who is best placed to lead the discussions and, how do we collaborate to seek solutions that keep human beings in the conversation?
