Since 2011, Darnelle Bernier has led the Medical Donations Program for CMMB (Catholic Medical Mission Board), a faith-based global health organization focused on increasing access to quality healthcare for the world's poor. With over 20 years of experience in global health, humanitarian program design, access to medicines, and multisector partnerships, she is committed to advancing health worldwide. Previously, she served as Senior Manager in the Global Health Department of the American Cancer Society, overseeing the strategy, launch and implementation in Europe, and the global program development of Relay For Life, a community engagement and volunteerism program in twenty-one countries worldwide. She served as Board Chair of the Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (2018 - 2020), and now serves as Nominations and Governance Committee Chair (2024-2025).
